The wide range of the Institute´s work impressed
Karin Stoll, Consul General of the German Consulate General, Chennai visited recently Karl Kübel Institute for Development Education (KKID) in Coimbatore, India. The Executive Director Dr. Nathan and the team welcomed her and introduced the work of the Institute.
The Consul General was impressed by the wide range of work the Institute offers. Beginning with monitoring of roughly 40 development projects in India, Nepal and Myanmar. Furthermore the team accompanies trainings and field visits for international companies and groups. Additionally the Institute offers a big variety of workshops and trainings for NGOs with topics such as Impact monitoring, finance, child protection for national and international NGOs on different levels and languages. Aside from that the Institute is often rent by business companies for their staff qualification.
Karin Stoll valued the Institute and underlined the importance of KKID for the NGO sector not only in India.
