Mr. Karl Kübel, the great personality was blessed by The Lord Almighty to live a meaningful life in this world. He was a cheerful person with a smiling face who inspired a lot of people. According to the need of time he was sent to the world by the Almighty to fulfill his mission. Mr. Kübel respected everyone's personality and safeguarded their dignity. His noble ideas and great vision about development bear fruit through the implementation of different development projects in various Countries. He promoted harmony and the spirit of common brotherhood.
It was in the year 1995 I met Mr. Kübel the first time in Mankarai, S. India during the inaugural function of laying a foundation stone for Karl Kübel Institute for Development Education (KKID). I never forget his words asked during the function to the public audience with shivering hands: "Again what can I do more for you?" It reflects in my mind often. These simple words have a lot of meanings, such as humanity, concern and thirst to do good for others.
I got a chance to visit him twice
I appreciate his simplicity. After the opening ceremony of the KKID building in 1999 he was seriously ill and admitted in an ordinary Hospital with undergone medical treatment, although there were super specialized hospitals in Coimbatore. During his stay in the hospital I got a chance to visit him twice. Even though he was seriously ill he showed much interest to watch the daily news and information about the activities of his foundation. His beloved wife Mrs. Anne Kübel was very supportive to him and she shared his ideas. She took the most care during his illness. I am glad to say that I could send two of our staff members - Mr.Mohan and Ms. U. Elizabeth to stay with them for one week. They also admired the Kübel family very much and still remember those days with gratitude.Quality of life can only improve, if the individual improves his or her quality
Most of the rich people in the world save their wealth to take care of their own family and for the well being of their generation. But Karl Kübel had a broad mind and good heart to share his wealth for the welfare of the poor who live in several parts of the world.
Mr. Kübel gave life to millions of families in the world. He respected the individuals as human beings. He enabled to improve people's skills and talents throughout various trainings, workshops and seminars. He believed that "quality of life can only improve, if the individual improves his or her quality".
