It was indeed a great opportunity to meet Mr. Karl Kübel who visited Mankarai, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, in the year 2000. Sr. Anila Mathew, Director Good Shepherd Health Education Centre and Dispensary, Karamadai, introduced us to Mr. Kübel.
I realized Mr. Kübel's real love and affection when we met and spoke to each other. I stayed in the hospital where Mr. Kübel was admitted due to illness. I attended him for six days. Although Mr. Kübel was not really able to speak he had the concern to enquire about my family. This reflected his care about even the simplest human being.
Mr. Kübel was dedicating his wealth which he earned through his hard work to the benefit of the poor families in several parts of the world. I was inspired by Mr. Kübel's generosity and I was motivated to involve much in the social work.
We were shocked that Mr. Kübel passed away but he sowed many seeds in the world which had grown to big trees. Mr. Kübel is still alive, he lives in the hearts of millions of the poor and he lives in the form of light to enlighten others.
