We are supporting development projects focussed on "the poorest of the poor". Our target groups are families from disadvantaged population groups, such as marginal farmers or landless labourers who live below the poverty line. We are co-operating with charitable non-profit grassroot level organisations. The initiative for a project is to be taken by the local partner organisation, in consultation with the target groups. After an intensive joint planning phase again the responsibility for the implementation is with the partner organisation.
The majority of our projects is cofinanced by public funding agencies. Towards the public funding agencies we have to guarantee, that the planning of the project, the implementation, the reporting and the accounting is assured in a professional manner. Furthermore we recognise ourselves as a liaison between the interests of our partner organisations, the public and the political decisionmakers.
